The Cliffs Cottage at Furman University lets visitors peak into the present and future of sustainable living. At Cliffs Cottage on the campus of Furman University, visitors will see what the future of green living is all about. Furman University worked with more than 100 environmentally conscious companies to build this comfortably modern home that looks at every aspect of going green. From water reclamation to solar energy, this yearlong eco-project takes an in-depth look at innovations available today and how we may all be living 10 to 20 years from now.
The Cliffs Cottage opens to the public on June 14 and will remain open for one year.
Tickets: Book on line at www.furmancliffscottage.com to guarantee a tour time. Walk ups taken on a space available basis: $10 for adults, $8 senior
citizens (62 plus), $8 children (age 6-11), and children under the age of
5 free (must be accompanied by an adult).

Tour hours: Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.), Thursdays
(10 a.m. to 6 p.m.), Saturday (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) and Sunday (Noon to 4
p.m.). The home is closed on Mondays.
