ARTIST llyn strong WILL EXHIBIT WORK AT TOP RANKING ARTS FESTIVAL

(GREENVILLE, SC) llyn strong of Greenville, SC will exhibit work in the Precious Jewelry media category at Artisphere, Greenville's spring Arts Festival. Artisphere's fifth annual festival will take place May 8th, 9th, and 10th 2009. The centerpiece of Artisphere is the Open Air Artist Row, featuring 100 of the highest caliber artists from across the United States and beyond. Artists in ceramics, drawing, fiber, furniture, glass, jewelry, metalworks, 2D and 3D mixed media, oil and acrylic painting, watercolor painting, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and woodwork media categories will exhibit. Participates are selected for the festival through a jury review process by a panel of jurors who are experts in the visual arts.

The Artisphere festival includes a wide array of performing arts in local theatres and outdoor amphitheatres, visual arts exhibits at local museums and participating galleries, a Culinary Arts Café, and Kidsphere, a children's activities area. Artisphere, ranked as a "Top Twenty Event" in the Southeast by Southeast Tourism Society, brings tens of thousands of residents and tourists together to experience the arts in the beautiful West-End Historic District of Downtown Greenville, SC.

Artisphere's mission as an annual signature event for Greenville, SC is to showcase the arts, reflect the area's international flair, encourage economic development and bring awareness to existing local arts programs. The festival provides a diverse menu of experiences that center around the arts, both visual and performing, and Greenville's multicultural offerings to appeal to visitors from around the world, as well as residents throughout the region.
