Landrum, SC - The Red Horse Inn is pleased to announce that it has been selected from a list of over 19,000 bed and breakfasts and country inns on iLoveInns.com to receive the celebrated "Top 10 Romantic Inns" award. This is the Inns 3rd National award.
American Historic Inns, Inc., publisher of more than 2.7 million bed & breakfast guidebooks, and companion Web site iLoveInns.com has announced the most coveted bed and breakfast award of the year - "2008 Top 10 Romantic Inns." This marks the 15th straight year that the prestigious award has been given. These romantic inns were selected for attributes such as their scenic settings, interior beauty, sense of place, hospitality and overall romantic mystique.
The staff at iloveinns.com spends countless hours on the selection process. According to AHI President Deborah Sakach, "We believe our efforts have produced a wonderfully unique selection of the country's best inns that will give each guest the opportunity to experience the ultimate in romantic travel. All the inns we've selected specialize in the gift of romance for you and the love of your life." Visit www.iLoveInns.com for information on the complete 2008 list.
Built in 1995 by Innkeeper/Owners Mary and Roger Wolters, the Inn has specialized in romance from its inception. Six private cottages and six luxurious inn rooms, each with fireplaces and whirlpools, some with outdoor hot tubs, are only some of the romantic amenities the inn provides. Privacy, peace and a serene setting with sweeping views of the Blue Ridge Mountains provide an idyllic scene.
Each cottage and room is delightfully decorated, luxuriously appointed and kept in pristine condition. Guests are pampered with "breakfast-in-bed" features that allow them to soak up their "together time". Special gourmet dinners can be created to provide special pampering. A masseuse can come to a guests room or cottage and soothe after a day of exploring the areas covered bridges or waterfalls.
