Table 301, formerly Court Square Restaurant Group, Owner Carl Sobocinski announced the second annual Southern Exposure events will feature Thomas Keller, widely regarded as one of America's finest chefs, as well as the musical talents of Edwin McCain, Michael McDonald and Branford Marsalis. Southern Exposure, a three-day celebration of food, wine and music, will be held in Greenville on Friday, Sept. 14 to Sunday, Sept. 16, 2007.

Along with the distinguished lineup of musical and culinary talents that have currently signed on, Saturday afternoon's Grand Wine Tasting will feature more than 100 wines from nearly 30 wineries, including Schug, Chateau Montelena and Patz & Hall.

"Last year's inaugural event was such a success, and we felt we had to challenge ourselves to make this year's event even bigger and better," said Sobocinski. "We hope our stellar lineup will elevate Southern Exposure to an even greater prominence, while promoting Greenville as an emerging cultural center."

Keller holds the status of being named the nation's top chef by Time Magazine, Bon Appétit Magazine and the James Beard Foundation, and is the only American to operate multiple three-star rated restaurants in The Michelin Guide.

Platinum-selling singer and songwriter Edwin McCain and Grammy-award winner Michael McDonald, formerly of the Doobie Brothers, will be performing on Friday and Saturday night, respectively, with jazz musician Branford Marsalis entertaining at the event's Sunday morning New Orleans-style jazz brunch.

All events will take place in downtown Greenville, with many area chefs and restaurants also participating in the wine dinners and chef demonstrations. Among the local restaurants participating are 33 Liberty, High Cotton, Devereaux's, Larkin's on the River and Restaurant O.

Other chefs scheduled to appear are: Tony Aiazzi, executive chef of Aureole in New York; Iverson Brownell, executive chef and owner of Iverson Catering in Park City, Utah; Bryan Voltaggio, executive chef of Charlie Palmer Steak in Washington D.C.; Gerry Klaskala, executive chef and managing partner of Aria in Atlanta; Frank Lee, executive chef of Slightly North of Broad in Charleston, S.C.; Scott Crawford, Chef de Cuisine of the "Georgian Room" at Sea Island, GA; and Barton Seaver, chef and partner of Hook in Washington D.C.

"It's important for us to not only feature nationally-known individuals, but also tap the incredible talent that is found right here in Greenville," added Sobocinski. "Southern Exposure is all about bringing the culinary and performing arts communities together."

Weekend packages are currently on sale for $450 per person and include admission to all of the Southern Exposure events. Additionally, VIP packages are available for $750 and include admission to all of the weekend's events, as well as entry to VIP receptions on Friday and Saturday.

Tickets for individual events will be available for several of the weekend's experiences mid-summer. All ticket options may be purchased at www.southernexposuregreenville.com, or at the Peace Center box office at (800) 888-7768.
